Realme X50 5G: Design and Display
The Realme X50 5G features a 3D glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top with an 8mm liquid-cooled copper pipe for better heat dissipation. On the front, it has a 6.57-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, and a hole-punch cutout to house the dual front-facing cameras. The X50 5G comes in two color options: Polar White and Glacier Blue.
Realme X50 5G: Performance
At its core, the Realme X50 5G comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor with Adreno 620 GPU, coupled with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of internal storage. It includes a 4200mAh battery with 30W Super VOOC 4.0 fast charging and runs on the company’s latest RealmeUI based on Android 10, out of the box, making it the first Realme smartphone to come pre-loaded with RealmeUI. Among other things, the smartphone employs dual-band SA/NSA support for 5G networks (along with VoLTE) with WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication, and a USB Type-C port.
Realme X50 5G: Camera
For optics, the Realme X50 5G sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 64MP primary Samsung GW1 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 12MP 2x telephoto lens with f/2.5 aperture. Towards the front, it has dual front-facing cameras housed within the hole-punch cutout, with a 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture.
Realme X50 5G: Pricing and Availability
The Realme X50 5G comes in three RAM and storage configurations: 6GB + 256GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 12GB + 256GB, which are priced at RMB 2,699 (~ USD 388 / INR 27,924), RMB 2,499 (~ USD 359 / INR 25,855), and RMB 2,999 (~ USD 432 / INR 31,028), respectively. It is already up for pre-orders in China and will go on its first sale starting January 14. Besides the X50 5G, the company has also announced a Master Edition for the same, the Realme X50 5G Master Edition (in Black and Gold), which comes in 12GB + 256GB variant and is priced at RMB 3099 (~ USD 446 / INR 32,074).
