MediaTek G70 Highlights

Processing – The MediaTek G70 incorporates the ARM Cortex-A75 CPUs operating up to 2GHz, along with six Cortex-A55 processors in a single, octa-core cluster, which share a big L3 cache for better performance and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. For graphics, the processor comes equipped with the high-performance Mali-G52 GPU, operating at 820MHz. To maintain synergy, the chipset includes MediaTek’s CorePilot, which ensures consistent performance while gaming. AI Performance – Since better AI performance is responsible for a majority of camera operations, such as object recognition, scene detection, Smart Photo Album, and Bokeh-effect, the G70 chipset comes with support for MediaTek NeuroPilot, which allows developers to take full advantage of the ecosystem, in addition to the AI frameworks, to offer better Android apps and enhancements. Photography – The G70 comes with Secure ISP, which adds an extra layer of security and also helps make smartphone authentication faster and accurate. Besides this, the chipset also aids with blending the multiple-camera setup images and includes a dedicated depth engine, Camera Control Unit (CCU), Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Rolling Shutter Compensation (RSC), among other things. Network – For connectivity, there is support for dual 4G VoLTE for better, faster, and more reliable connections. According to MediaTek, the 802.11ac connectivity offers fast Wi-Fi performance and the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi co-existence ensures a reliable experience.
